Work.

Selected engagements across founder, contract, and agency leadership roles — from building Metricform's intelligence platform, to standing up an intelligence practice at News Corp / Storyful, to applied research and lectures at Cornell, to the enterprise rebrands and DTC growth work that came before.

§ Operating cadence

A four-beat engagement.

Every engagement — fractional, contract, or advisory — runs the same rhythm. Evaluate the surface, roadmap the system, build the working artifact, measure what shipped.

Metricform
Founder · AI Product · Enterprise SaaS
Role · Founder & CEO
Year · 2025 —

A narrative-intelligence platform for the questions boards actually ask.

Founded Metricform — an AI-native narrative intelligence platform for executive reporting, media/social analysis, and market intelligence. Community-graph cluster detection, MCP-native answering, multimodal source-chain analysis, and account-specific learning loops, live in paid enterprise delivery.

§ The Challenge

Boards and C-suites ask questions research decks can't answer — questions about narrative velocity, coalition risk, and the invisible communities forming opinion around a brand or category. Existing listening tools count mentions; they don't reason.

§ Approach
  • Designed and shipped a community-graph clustering engine to detect emergent narratives before they hit mainstream media.
  • Built an MCP-native answering layer so analysts and executives can query the graph in plain language, with source-chain provenance.
  • Wired multimodal ingestion (text, image, video) into an account-specific learning loop that tunes to each enterprise's taxonomy.
  • Ran the full commercial motion — discovery, POC design, enterprise contracting — into paid delivery.
§ Highlights
  • Live paid delivery with Danone; confirmed engagements with Tarte Cosmetics and the Canadian Securities Exchange.
  • Own a $1.10M named ACV pipeline across 12 accounts and two signed agency LOIs representing $480K potential ACV.
  • Lead product, engineering, data, research, design, legal, and growth; patent application underway.
  • Driving a $900K pre-seed SAFE round against $150K founder capital deployed.

§ The Challenge

Storyful's intelligence practice needed a repeatable operating model — one that could scale from bespoke analyst work to a productized methodology enterprise clients could rely on across advertising safety, reputation risk, and brand equity.

  • Built a Python-based MVP with API and OpenAI integrations to qualify opportunity and visualize it for leadership.

Brand Equity Methodology
Methodology · Research · IP
Role · Author & Lecturer
Year · 2024 – 2025

A quantitative framework for measuring brand equity — taught, published, and shipped.

Original consumer-insight and brand-measurement framework — four weighted pillars, industry-specific weightings, min-max normalization — used inside Storyful's enterprise practice and taught at Cornell as a graduate-level lecture on brand equity for CPG, luxury, retail, financial services, and automotive.

Brand Equity Methodology cover
§ The Challenge

Most brand-equity measurement is qualitative narrative wrapped around a survey. Executives need a defensible, cross-industry score that ties to Awareness, Esteem, Association, and Loyalty — and that can be recomputed as data flows in.

§ Approach
  • Defined the Four Pillars — Awareness, Esteem, Association, Loyalty — with explicit measurement instruments per pillar.
  • Formalized the scoring formula: BrandEquityScore = Σ(Pillar × Weight), normalized 0-100 via min-max across the competitive set.
  • Built industry-specific weightings (Luxury, Consumer Electronics, Retail, Financial Services, Automotive) grounded in observed consumer-decision patterns.
  • Operationalized the pillars against real data sources: Meltwater, Brandwatch, Trustpilot, Qualtrics, Shopify, and custom NLP clustering.
§ Highlights
  • Adopted inside Storyful's enterprise intelligence practice as the reference brand-equity model.
  • Presented as a graduate-level lecture — "Understanding & Quantifying Brand Equity" — with a Nike / Adidas / Under Armour worked example scoring 85.3 vs 65 vs 45.
  • Introduces industry-weighted models so a luxury brand and a retailer aren't scored on the same instrument.
  • Codifies practitioner instruments — SOV, NPS, sentiment, retention, thematic clustering — into one comparable score.
